His name is Arnie and he first came to us on ‘Staffy Saturday’ last year, very timid and fearful-Arnie is a big girls’ blouse! But we love him and babied him along a bit and he soon came out of his shell, afterwards he found the toy behind a chair and had an extremely bouncey play!!

Aa all of our regular guests know, each dog gets ‘something nice’ to wear home after their grooming and pampering session. We make our own little dog bandanas, and we fasten them on using little bows which we also design and make ourselves, for the personal touch. Seasonally we use Christmas, Valentines themes etc, and we have great fun at Halloween of course! If you dont want your dog to have a bandana, thats ok-just let us know, although the dogs adore them and when we get the box out most of them start looking and wagging to see what they are going to get this time!

We make hundreds of designs so hopefully no one goes home in the same bow twice!
We do advise that no dog is left in bandanas or bows unsupervised in case they eat them!
Reba and Emma have had special Jubilee sweaters made for them by BARNEY’S KNITWEAR and the new outfits have gone down very well with the girls! Here they are pictured wearing them while spending the day with us at the salon as usual – these jumpers are even robust enough to withstand half an hour’s rough and tumble!
Here is an adorable little chap who came to us for the first time today and seemed to thoroughly enjoy himself! He is a Chihuahua x Papillon, so tiny and so very relaxed

I will post some of our doggy makeover pictures here, its nice for owners to be able see the kind of work that we do. Here is Oscar, a full-coated lovely English Cocker Spaniel . He was clipped velvet smooth, with feathering scissored in on his legs, and his ears and tail have been shaped. Shauna groomed Oscar to produce this transformation!
This lovely miniature poodle is Pepi.
He came into the salon with a ‘home’ hair cut, so there were a few bits and pieces that needed smoothing out but what a smashing dog he is!
This is a lovely Jack Russell called Pippa who came in with her friend Buster to have a makeover this week.
Alice groomed her and as you can see has made her look young again!
