Ted managed to stand still for a quick snap while being groomed by Shauna at the weekend. Ted is a beautiful Bichon Frise who likes being groomed so much, that we always joke that he books himself in for his pamper!

Our beautiful dogs!
Our girls Reba and Emma enjoyed a fleeting glimpse of the sun in the garden this morning- hopefully a taste of more to come! Reba is a silver Standard poodle, 2 years of age, and Emma our black labrador will be 8 next month! They get on like a house on fire, and used to spend every day at the grooming salon, meeting and greeting all the doggy clients. Now we are a lot busier they stay home most of their time and help Mark with the books and the garden!
Coco is a sweet honey!
Coco had a mini photo shoot today for our Spa Dog website, here is one of the finished photos. Coco is the ideal model, he seems to know which way to look to show off his best angles! He went home smelling of Honey I Washed the Dogs, our best selling fragrance!
Delicious New Fragrances for the Dogs!
We have two new fragrances in the Spa Dog range, In addition to Honey, Pear Pawfait, and Spiced Plum we now have Vanilla Cream and Crystallised Ginger. You can ‘mix and match’ products if you want to try more than one fragrance, as these fragrances have all been chosen to complement each other. Today all of our guests will be coming home wearing either Vanilla Cream or Crystallised Ginger 
Ted the Shih Tzu
This sweet bear of a dog was in for his makeover yesterday. Ted normally comes in with his sister Tiny, but she has had a couple of operations on her leg and needs to get well before she goes the whole hog with a full makeover. Tiny had just a little trim around her face to keep her going till next time, while Ted had the works! Some of you may remember back in October when he first came in as a puppy, he had his photo taken in a Halloween outfit that we made. You can really see how much he has grown when you compare the two photos. I will try and dig out the October pics and attach them to this post! The above is a rare moment showing Ted sitting up-during his grooming session he loves to just lie down and take it easy!

This is Gem, the beautiful border collie, she is a regular customer of Mutley Makeovers Dog Grooming. Yesterday she had a lovely pamper, with some extras! She had her nails painted silver, with gold glitter top coat, and also a relaxing honey and oatmeal massage.

Lovely Bruce is the dog of the week this week at DunRoamin Rehoming centre so he came to pay us a visit and have a nice pamper day on Tuesday! Initially a little bit nervous, he was ‘anybody’s for a fairy cake’ so we lined the cakes up by the side of the bath and popped him in. We left the side off the bath to start with as Bruce is scared of confined spaces (having been locked up by a previous owner in a tiny space). As soon as the side of the bath went on he had a bit of a panic, so we opened the window in the bathroom and he was happy to watch the passers by while he got scrubbed up. Now and again he would have a tiny panic, soon rectified by the giving of a fairy cake each time. He adored his bath once he got going, and spent extra time in there just for the enjoyment of it all!

A westie puppy gets his very first makeover!
At Mutley Makeovers we always thoroughly enjoy grooming puppies! (Well who wouldn’t?) This sweet young westie had never been clipped before at 9 months and he was a little bit suspicious at first, but he soon got used to the idea! He did have lots of muddy knots and tangles so he had quite a short haircut, but left longer on his head to give that cute ‘westie’ look. What an adorable and very good natured pup!
